I don't know about the occult bookstore claim. Where are your sources? Your footnotes? If you're making claims like that, you need to be getting them from a viable source.
How about directly from Peter Grant? If you don't know who he is, then I wonder if you're really a fan of Zep.
FYI: Grant was their touring manager, and wrote a biography on the band. It sits on my bookshelf as we speak, as does all 10 of their albums (10 CDs, 10 LPs, their original boxed set (the 4 disc one with the crop circles on the front)), their movie, and a few random posters in my bedroom at my parent's house. I don't own "Hammer of the Gods", although I have read it. I'm possibly a bigger Zep fan than most of the people here, or at least was while I was in Uni! Musically, they're possibly
the best and most innovative popular band in the entire history of blues and rock music. Lyrically... well, on one hand it's brilliant, but on the other... this is what Plant had to say about at least the lyrics to Stairway (as is written in Grant's book), I was just sitting there with Pagey in front of a fire at Headley Grange. Pagey had written these chords and he played them for me. I was holding a pencil and paper and for some reason, I was in a very bad mood. Then all of a sudden my hand was writing out the words: Theres a lady whos sure, all that glitters is gold, and shes buying a Stairway to Heaven. I just sat there and I looked at the words and I almost leapt out of my seat. If you're a Christian, this should, at the very least, raise red flags to keep your mind clear while listening to Zep.
