Ohh! Hey everyone 
whilst picking strawberry's today from the fields (eating about half of what I picked) I heard about this Museum of creationism thats opening in the US that ignores some of the scientific advances for the past 100 years like carbon dating and evolution theories and teachers there version instead.
I would be very interested in learning about creationism, do they really believe the world was made 5000 years ago? that dinosaurs all died and berried themselves and seemed to have aged a few million years in a few 100? do they believe that selective breeding isn't real, the base of evolution (that Horses have not become stronger (that pigs aren't fatter, that berry's haven't become larger as we selectively bread them, ect)
If all humans came from Adam and Eve and we never evolve or change over time then why are there so many races of human? (about 250 races in Africa alone.) The Bible was written using the best scientific ideas of the day. If every one of the 100's of writers over the 100's of years were all controlled by God to write the book then dose that mean we have no control over our selves? if I rob a bank its not me, is it God acting through me? why would the bible not give the secrets of the universe if God wrote it through man, why just stories and morals, wouldn't God give us something better than just the best available ideas and stories of the time?
If the writers were only inspired by God then the words are still of human hands and minds. If its not all written by God then what parts are null and void, the parts not written by God?
The Museum of creationist says that we used to have the plant eating dinosaurs as pets! that we rode the huge dinosaurs. Science knows now for a fact humans evolved millions of years after the dinosaurs largely all died out. They know we first evolved in Africa and spread out across the world and that the world's land masses have split and changed over time cutting people off to evolve differently.
I would love to go and have a look around the museum just for the entertainment factor. Its a little worrying that they say there extremely unorthodox theories are fact as it breads ignorance. In my experience the people who attack evolution and related modern scientific theories don't have a good understanding of them.
