  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Is this a poem about hopelessness? It gives away a sad impression of it from reading it.

I do hope you will not end it! God is someone Whom you can become known with, and He with you. He is the one who desires having a relationship with you the most, and longs for you! To know you, and that you get to knowing Him!

Don't loose hope! Let Him be your hope! And your salvation today!

Why would your God long for me? What is he lacking exactly? Maybe it's your own needs bleeding through your response.

Why would your God long for me?

Because He made you. It is much of the same as a father and a mother wants to learn getting known with their child. Same way God wants to get to know each one of us in a personal way, and He wants us to get to knowing Him. It is very special, that such a big God wishes to getting known with each one of us, and then letting us getting known with Him as well.

What is he lacking exactly?

He doesn't lack anything! Yet He has a deep interest and care for us. He is also Love. We are all very precious to Him, yet He doesn't force Himself on us. So He doesn't decide for you, whether you want to choose for the salvation He has offered to you through His Son Jesus Christ or whether you don't want it! But He does hope for as many as possible to repent and get saved! Still, it is a choice given to all!

Maybe it's your own needs bleeding through your response.

I do need God! This is for certain! ;) I know that I am nothing without Jesus Christ! He is the one who made me! The Word of God! His Being is so precious to me!

I like that way of expression: "Maybe it's your own needs bleeding through your response." My need for Him is indeed bleeding through in my words as well as in my being! I want to be so bold in Christ Jesus! And I want Him to being My All! :)

Ultimately if you become like Jesus in the end, who of you will be left to be you?

God also created us with a different personality. Jesus was perfect man and perfect God, in God's eyes He was always seen as holy. Except for on the cross when He bore all of our sins upon Himself, but it was also something which lifted Him up in glory afterwards!

You need to be born again to truly understand the ways of God. Without the leading of the Holy Spirit, you cannot understand the meaning of living a life as a Christian.

An example is during the transfiguration of Jesus Christ. Jesus met on a high mountain Elijah and Moses, which were recognized by the disciples. They had been long dead, yet they were still recognizable.

Matthew 17:1-6

After six days Jesus took with Him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.

Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

While He was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him!

When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,”He said. “Don’t be afraid." When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.

God is creative. He didn't make all the angels the same way either. Look also at His Creation. All of the animals, many different types! Look at nature, there are also many different forms and sceneries! It should be clear that there is a great Creator behind this all!

Jesus died for his belief, end of story.
