Multiple marriages?

yes what a touchy and controversial subject.
but i do need some sort of discussion on this.
biblical references.
jesus's teaching.
is it a sin in the eyes of god or merely not addressed in the bible.

i'd just like to ask for peoples comments or any form of document, article, biblical refernce that addresses multiple or singular marriage. on a christian perspective.

I think the essence is that God designed marriage to me one man one woman - after the fall things got twisted and multiple wives became common - but always with dire concequences, none of them were without trauma and pain. God warned the kings to have just one wife.
