Hey,

Well...in a few months I will be moving to South Korea to teach English! Yep...

I'm actually going with my husband, so at least I won't be alone. I was wondering if anyone can tell me stuff about South Korea, bad, good, fun, culture, etc...everything!

Need as much info as possible!

Thanks!

One of my friends went to S.Korea to teach ESL. He loved it so much that he's on his fourth year there now!

You should check out http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/korea/, if you haven't already. It has a ton of awesome stuff and a great message board with people who teach english all over the world. If you're looking for some advice or tips, then check it out!

ifshecouldsee Korea is fun! Love the people, they are very friendly and polite. Korean movies are also a big hit now in Hong Kong, with romance genre particullarly successful. Traditonal food is kind of monotonous if you ask me, usually chicken/beef/pork rice with kimchi (spicy cabbage), & chicken soup with ginsen. They have a 'Lotte' world, kinda like their Disney. Lots of asians go there to ski in winter, its good to spend a few days in the mountain resorts. And last but not least, they have great spas. There's a wonderful spa park, wish I remember the name. Well have fun and God bless!

Hi I'm a Korean. Korea is a beautiful and a ulgy place at the same time. Some people are mean, some people are nice. You never know what kind of people you will run in too! so WATCH OUT !!!
Kids there are really interested in computer games and sports. In Korea there are many PC Cafes ( Where you use the computer to play games, check email, etc. )
I especially like the foods there. Bi Bim Bap, Ja Jang Myun are some of the famous foods in Korea. Well enjoy Korea!
