Moving to Georgia

I'm considering moving from Jersey to Georgia and it has somewhat to do with an unsaved GF of 7 years who broke my heart.

How stupid is that?

One of the other reasons is that my brother moved there about a couple years ago, and he loves it, and keeps bugging me to come out there.

Erm, don't move for the wrong reasons. Definately put a lot of prayer behind this if you really to desire it. God will open doors for you to go if it is His will.

Georgia is definately the place to be for beautiful weather,not that I'm biased what-so-ever.

What is it about Georgia and ex's? I have two from there. One of my best friends lives down there and keeps bugging me to move down there and my cousin lives in Atlanta.

It seems that anyone I've ever met from Georgia absolutely loves it. I wasn't too impressed with it the few times I've been down there. It's a nice place, but . . .

I think you should need to evaluate why you are really going down there. I for one say not to go down for an ex. Perhaps it's time to put her behind you (is she still you GF or an ex?) and move on. If you're seriously consider a move for other reasons, I say go visit your brother and check it out. What area does your brother live?

Where you moving to in Ga? Atl is really nice if you can deal w/the traffic. In Ga you should have no problem getting another gf. I met my ex of 3 yrs there the 1st weekend i was in town.

Chasing after an ex and moving your whole life based on someone who broke his heart (although he's not letting us know if there's a chance/still together???) isn't a real healthy thing to do. If there's pretty much no hope to the relationship, then I think he's setting himself up for some more heartache.

Although, my friend is telling me about her friends down there and it seems that GA people are as wacked out as OH people. (Simmer down folks--only kidding). So it may be easy to find gals, but are they quality?

Pray about it. I live in Georgia and i'll wager it's like other places in the world: some people like it and some people don't. There are pros and cons to any place that you could ever move to. Go where God wants you , not where anyone else wants you.

I guess I wasn't clear. The move would be to get away from the ex, not chase after her. Too many memories of her in Jersey. And whoever said "Jersey Sucks!" that's true.

Well... AGS isn't as bad as SAV or ATL... less traffic than ATL- not as warm or buggy as SAV. And Eden is right across the river! (Native South Carolinian here )
