Can someone please explain this to me...
I submitted a thread describing how the director at my halfway house had issues with a movie that was rented by us (Davinci Code), even though it was well within our perogative.
Today I find out, the post was moved to "Box office" (even though the point of the post was not to talk about the movie, and it's audience was recovering christians who could ID with a recovery environment.)
It was also edited to remove my comment about some christians being a little over the top in their pigheadedness , on the grounds it "The was because a comment like that can cause debate and insult some Christians. I am sure it could. What topic won't have the possibility to cause debate with Christians, at times leading to great bloodshed "In Christ's Holy Name". That's why we have so many denominations, we can't see eye to eye on something so we pack up our toys and start a new church.
How do christians multiply? By dividing.
I am a gratefully recovering addict, but I don't often go to meetings and don't "work the steps". I live the steps. I am sure there are people on this forum that could make a debate into this (or try to).
Can one scriptural example be given when Jesus minced words because he was afraid of what "Man" would think? That would help a lot. Thanks!
