The Academy Awards have all been handed out,I was wondering if you ever saw a movie,perhaps an award winner. Everyone seemed to like but you didn't like at all.




One of mine: Gone With the Wind

"No Country For Old Men" - won awards at last years ceremony, but I just did not care for it at all.

Titanic (I liked the Celine Dion song though)

(Wasn't keen on "Gone with the Wind" either.)

I absolutely detested "Shawshank Redemption" but some people loved that movie.:o

I love cheesy kung fu films. But a few years back a martial arts film won the forein OSCAR award 'Flying Daggers?' or title similar, I thought it was terrible film.

Fargo (oh but I loved "Shawshank Redemption"!)

We rarely go to the movies but we did like Zorro when we took our grandson to see it.

I didn't much like Fargo either,however I lived where they shot Shawshank,the prison scenes anyway,I guess that's why I liked it. I didn't much like Pulp Fiction,but for some reason it got rave reviews.

Yes I do...

Another thing I notice...
is that whilst watching a repeat of a film seen previously
or, listening to a piece of music [AGAIN]
it is possible to see and hear MORE than you did the first time around

Perhaps.... someone was talking to you /distracting you [the first time]

Bro. it happens to me all the time. That's why I like to get DVD's so that you can watch a movie more than once,if you find it worthy of watching more than once.
