  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Much like the Political Trivia Thread on the Politics forum, except with movies. It starts out with a question about a movie/actor/director/producer/writer/WHATEVER, anything that deals with movies. Maybe later on we might have to narrow down the subjects a bit cause it might get hard but we'll see. Here's the first question. It might seem dumb but it's enough to get a start I believe.

In the movie the Rundown, what's the name of the famous body building actor that makes a cameo appearance in the beginning bar scene by saying the words "Have Fun" to the movie's star Dwayne Johnson?

good luck and "HAVE FUN" lol..okay maybe that was corny

I will post some quotes, these are downright easy if you have seen the movie. You need to give me the actor and character name. Feel free to look up one or the other but don't look the quote up.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I break your concentration?"

"Where the white women at?"

"Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?" (Okay you don't need the actor name for this one)

"Have you ever stepped onto the road, and you turn and a car's almost on you? something very strange happens. Your life doesn't flash before your eyes, cos you're too ******* scared to think - you just freeze... and pull a stupid face."

"Don't say that you're more sorry than I am, because I'm capable of being just as sorry as you are... So we're both sorry, all right?... All right."

"But why is the rum gone?"

Easy... one of my favorite movies. Actor = Samuel L. Jackson Character = Jules Winfield Movie = Pulp Fiction

Where the white women at?"
I believe that's from Malibu's Most Wanted Actor = Jamie Kennedy Character = B-Rad

"Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?" (Okay you don't need the actor name for this one)
Donnie Darko I think???

"Have you ever stepped onto the road, and you turn and a car's almost on you? something very strange happens. Your life doesn't flash before your eyes, cos you're too ******* scared to think - you just freeze... and pull a stupid face."
Another one of my good movies that i like. From the movie Snatch I believe. Actor = Jason Stoltham (i don't know his name really) and the character was Turkish

"Don't say that you're more sorry than I am, because I'm capable of being just as sorry as you are... So we're both sorry, all right?... All right."

I've got some easy ones for you all....
1) The only movie for which Harrison Ford was nominated for a best actor Oscar
2)The actress who plays Raymond Shaw's mother in the original "Manchurian Candidate"
3)The actor who was the dead friend (and whose part was edited out) of the "Big Chill"
