  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hi, I only watch Edited Movies unless it is a family film are a clean PG-13 movie. I feel like it is wrong for me to see and hear, bunch of sex & language. The only Rated R movie that I have ever watched in my home is The Passion Of The Christ. I do not go to the theatres to see them either. So don't feel like you are all alone in your convictions. There is nothing wrong with having convictions. If you like good movies then you might try some edited movies from www.familyflix.net, www.familydvd.net or www.editartist.com these companys provide great movies without the trash.

Your brain is like your stomach. Put good things in it and you'll be healthy. Put bad things in and you'll posion yourself. I used to watch any R-rated movie that came out, but in the past few months, the Lord has really been challenging me to stay away from things that are potentially harmful. I'm not giving up all R-rated movies, because they aren't all bad, but some movies that come out these days are pure mind poison.

I gradually find myself being more and more convicted to stay away from certain movies. Certainly no where near the point of not watching any R movies. But I won't watch any movies with gratuitous sexuality in them unless I'm with a group where I'm odd-man out. Violence and language doesn't bother me as much...it's mostly the sexuality that I'm becoming more and more concious about.
