Mother may go blind

Hi all,
My mother has diabetes (the one without the insulin) and she may go blind in about 4 years.

Naturally I don't want this to happen. I would like her eyes to, in time, get better. I'm not expecting an overnight miracle like what Jesus did "back in the day" (lol) or anything, but I am hoping that her eyes will recover so she can at least see decently.

Please can I ask you all to add her into your prayers?

I have a little story for you, as well as those who are reading this.

My niece had a very bad peanut allergy as a baby, and the doctors said she would be allergic to peanuts for her whole life. My sister-in-law and my brother (her parents) prayed every day for a year for her peanut allergy to be cured.

One year later, they tested her for peanut allergy again, and she wasn't allergic to peanuts any more!!! She's not allergic or intolerant to them, and she's not had a single problem with them since.


Prayer is an amazing thing, isn't it?

What an amazing story!

As someone new to Christianity I am always astounded by the power of prayer, and I never get tired of hearing about the sheer grace of God to both Christians and other faiths.

I shall be praying for your mother. My late Grandmother had both diabetes and cataracts before she died and I know how distressing both diabetes and poor eyesight can be.

The doctors recently sent her a letter, they said that she will go in for an operation soon, and she will be there over night, but it may make her eyesight better.

Her eyesight seems to have gotten a little better recently, she could read something on the TV! Before, she couldn't even read size 24, but she can read some things in size 18 now!

She is going into hospital 21st of April 2008, at 1:00pm GMT. She's going to be in over night. Thanks for praying. Please pray extra hard on this day!
