On a Sunday morning a mother gave her daughter 50 cents and a doallar. "Put the dollar in the offersing and then you can have 50 cents for an ice cream". the mother said. When they got home she still had the dollar. "Why didn't you put the dollar in the offering?" the mother asked. "Well it was like this, the preacher said God loves a cheerful giver. I could give the 50 cents peice a lot more cheerfully than I could a dollar". the girl answered.
