Morning Star ?!

Beloved ones, I heard many times about Morning Star. I considered that I should do well to study diligently, that I may take delights in the works of the Lord.

Beloved ones, let us consider what we have heard, that we may understand, what has been spoken:

“And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;”
‭‭II Peter‬ ‭1:18-19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Beloved ones,
Didn’t we hear “and so holy apostles have the prophetic word confirmed, which we do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in our hearts.” ?

What we can perceive and understand,the morning star that rises in our hearts? How the morning star rises in our hearts ? Who is the morning star that rises in our hearts?

Let us first understand the word “morning”.
Biblestudytools, H. Porter explain
about morning:

There are several Hebrew and Greek words which are rendered "morning," the most common in Hebrew being boqer, which occurs 180 times. It properly means "the breaking forth of the light," "the dawn," as in Genesis 19:27; Judges 19:8,25,27

Another word with the same meaning is shachar (Genesis 19:15; Nehemiah 4:21; Isaiah 58:8). mishchar ("womb of the morning," Psalms 110:3) is a poetical term derived from. the same root. See HIND OF THE MORNING, THE. noghah, naghha' (Daniel 6:19 (Hebrew 20)), mean "brightness."

In the New Testament orthros, is properly "dawn," and is used for early morning (John 8:2; Acts 5:21), and proia signifies the same (Matthew 27:1). proi, "early," is an adverb and means early in the morning (Mark 1:35).

Beloved ones, we understand morning as the dawn or the breaking forth of the light or the brightness.

And how about star ?
This is what we have heard:

“The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭1:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

So we can consider star as angel.
And the morning star as the breaking forth of the light of Angel.

This is what we have heard our Lord answered Job in Job 38:

“Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:”
‭‭Job‬ ‭38:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“When the morning stars sang together,
And all the sons of God shouted for joy?”
‭‭Job‬ ‭38:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We understand that when the breaking forth of the light, angels sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy.

Are there many morning stars or
one, that arises in our hearts ?

For we heard:

“And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning STAR rises in your hearts;”
‭‭II Peter‬ ‭1:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Beloved ones, there is not written as many morning stars that arise in our hearts, but as one STAR.

This is also what we have heard:

““I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.””
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22:16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

So the morning STAR that arises in our hearts, is Jesus, the Bright and Morning Star.

Also, this is what we have heard:

“Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night.

And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid.

Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.

For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:

“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.””

Beloved ones, we heard that angels praising God and saying:

“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

The angels sang at the breaking forth of the light, for there was born to us this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

For we also heard :

“Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.

“Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.

Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.””
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22:6-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Beloved ones, we perceive what the angel said to John, and that John saw and heard the angel ,that he is our fellow servant, and of our brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. So there are not only one but MANY or MULTITUDE fellow servants, of our brethren the prophets and of those who keep the words of this book.

For we heard our Lord Himself said:

“Jesus answered and said to them, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage.

But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage;

nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭20:34-36‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Beloved ones, there who was with the angel a MULTITUDE of the heavenly host praising God — are angels who sang and also the sons of God who shouted for joy.

For all the sons of God are equal to the angels, being sons of the resurrection—- that is why the shepherds perceive that they were angels.

Beloved ones, let us reflect again what we have heard:

“And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;”

Beloved ones,
Didn’t we hear there are two “AND” ? So what has been spoken in II Peter‬ ‭1:18-19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ has relevance to what has spoken prior ? That we heard:

“For when He ( Jesus Christ the Son ) received honor and glory from God the Father, and the voice was borne to him ( Jesus Christ) by the Majestic Glory, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased,””
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭ESV‬‬

So the holy apostles have the prophetic word confirmed, that is, Jesus Christ the Son of God. For Christ the Son of God received honor and glory from God the Father and the voice was borne to Christ by the Majestic Glory, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.

Beloved ones, since apostle Peter said that WE have the prophetic word confirmed, that is, Jesus Christ the Son of God, — beloved ones, we have the prophetic word and we do well to take heed whom God the Father said that this is Jesus Christ the Son of God, beloved Son of our Heavenly Father, with whom He is well pleased.

We heard that we do well to take heed as light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in our hearts.

So this is Jesus Christ the Son of God, beloved Son of our Heavenly Father, with whom He is well pleased — we take heed as light that shines in a dark place,
until the day dawns and the morning star rises in our hearts.

So this light shine in a dark place ? Where ? That is in our hearts.

How this true light shine in our hearts?
Also we heard :

“He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭17:5‬ ‭ESV‬‬

This true light shine in our hearts because we take heed to LISTEN our Heavenly Father’s beloved Son, Jesus Christ the Son of God.
How ? This is what we have heard
For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life, -Proverbs 6:23

The unfolding of Your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple. -Psalms 119:130

Beloved ones, the unfolding of the words that Christ have spoken, gives light; the teaching of Christ imparts understanding to us.

Beloved ones, let the teaching of Christ shine in our hearts, we do well to take heed to listen to Him, who have received honor and glory from God the Father.

Beloved ones, we who do well to take heed to listen the words Christ have spoken, and the morning star rises in our hearts.

Beloved ones, the morning star that rises in our hearts is the message of the Father that He has spoken through His Son, Jesus Christ the Son of God that break forth as light in our hearts, that is, the light of the knowledge of the glory of God — the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Beloved ones, isn’t morning star, the brightness of an Angel ? Isn’t morning star as the breaking forth of light that the message that Angel preached ?

For we heard:
“Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.””
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭14:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Beloved one, have we perceived and understood that has been spoken of as another Angel ? Beloved ones, this is our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is what our Lord Jesus Himself said:
“neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭20:36‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Is Jesus a child of God ? Is He not son of the resurrection? Can He be equal to angel ? Beloved ones, this is one of the manifestation of the person of our beloved Jesus Christ.

For this is what apostle Peter, James and John witnessed :

“and was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.”

Beloved ones, consider the Lord’s disciples
who saw after His resurrection:

“After that, He appeared in another form to two of them as they walked and went into the country.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:36-37‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Beloved ones, our Lord Jesus Christ can also appear in the form of Angel.

Also, we heard:
“So the woman came and told her husband, saying, “A Man of God came to me, and His countenance was like the countenance of the Angel of God, very awesome; but I did not ask Him where He was from, and He did not tell me His name.”
‭‭Judges‬ ‭13:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Then Manoah said to the Angel of the Lord, “Please let us detain You, and we will prepare a young goat for You.” And the Angel of the Lord said to Manoah, “Though you detain Me, I will not eat your food. But if you offer a burnt offering, you must offer it to the Lord.” (For Manoah did not know He was the Angel of the Lord.) Then Manoah said to the Angel of the Lord, “What is Your name, that when Your words come to pass we may honor You?” And the Angel of the Lord said to him, “Why do you ask My name, seeing it is wonderful?” So Manoah took the young goat with the grain offering, and offered it upon the rock to the Lord. And He did a wondrous thing while Manoah and his wife looked on— it happened as the flame went up toward heaven from the altar—the Angel of the Lord ascended in the flame of the altar! When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell on their faces to the ground. When the Angel of the Lord appeared no more to Manoah and his wife, then Manoah knew that He was the Angel of the Lord. And Manoah said to his wife, “We shall surely die, because we have seen God!” But his wife said to him, “If the Lord had desired to kill us, He would not have accepted a burnt offering and a grain offering from our hands, nor would He have shown us all these things, nor would He have told us such things as these at this time.””

Beloved ones, who is A Man of God came to Manoah and his wife, and His countenance was like the countenance of the Angel of God, very awesome; that he declared that they have seen God ?

Beloved ones. our Lord Jesus Christ is the Angel of God. Also, the one mentioned I. Revelation 14:6-7, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people.

So the morning star is the everlasting gospel that the Angel of God, have to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people. Therefore, the morning star that rise in our hearts is the brightness of the Angel of God, our Beloved Jesus Christ, who Himself calls the Bright and Morning Star.
