Read the testimony the children gave to the Vatican officials who investigated the apparitions.
I have the complete book on Fatima which includes the interviews. "Documents on Fatima & The
Memoirs of Sister Lucia," by Father Antonio Maria Martins, S.J. In the approved apparitions,
the Blessed Mother never told the children that more souls go to hell because of sins of the flesh.
There is some contradiction on what Lucia told the investigators and what she claimed later in life,
especially about a 16 year old who had died before the apparitions. Lucia asked the Blessed Mother
where the girl was, and the Blessed Mother only said that she was in purgatory. Lucia added, if she
said anything else, she didn't remember. However, later in life as an old nun, Lucia claimed the
Blessed Mother told her that the girl would be in purgatory until the end of time.
