It seems like media portrays pre-marital sex as something everyone is doing. I know that there are some people who do this but I don't think they should promote pre-marital sex when the person is a Christian. I feel like the characters on television and in movies don't have any morals or values. If the person has morals at the beginning of the show or movie then they should not change them for others. That's what morals and values are all about. Characters on television used to have morals and values and now they don't. It's disappointing. Why can't people live by morals and values anymore? It doesn't matter if you answer this post. I just needed to get this out.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Unfortunately, the media is oftentimes a reflection of society, and they feel they have no responsibility to not follow its trends, no matter how crooked they may be.
It's important to realize that TV and movies aren't real. Even pornography is fake in the sense that it's made by actors and directors, most of whom have serious personal and mental issues. (Look up Belladonna's Dateline interview on YouTube.)

Typical "Hollywood vs. The Holy Word." If we watch these things, our souls must distinguish. Even if it is societal norm, we must be set apart.

Yeah it annoys me too... Not a reflection of my life but I guess that it is to write a story about a person who is living like that as it reflects more social norms... Just guessing or at least maybe the profits in selling a story like that is higher.

You are referencing a secular culture that focuses on all the aspects the bible teaches against. This culture is determined and guided by the enemy of the bible. This is exactly what you should expect.
Also the bible teaches us to expect this. That the world will fall more and more into selfishness and turmoil. Yet another reason why to expect this behavior.

This is not happening by accident. There is an age old agenda in place. I do not believe that media is a reflection of society but rather society is a reflection of media. Everything you experience through your senses has a way of programming you to think, feel and act a certain way. This is why Biblical knowledge is essential.
