As written in the geology of the Earth itSelf, there was no Noah's flood. You understand that truth which is the why of your story line that God cleaned up His mess after the supposed world wide Noah's flood. That's your way of reconciling that story in the Bible with what's actually seen in the Earth.Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
I don't care how well established they claim it is.
It's only established on paper.

It would be a fitting thing-an epiphany even- for oneAs written in the geology of the Earth itSelf, there was no Noah's flood. I'll abbreviate to just " d".
"That crazy man just sits there saying
' d d d d d d d d d d' and it's so annoying:."
You gotta give her credit for that one, Kylie!
Yes, I do.
Grudgingly.
VERY grudgingly.
Why, you might say, very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very grudgingly.
Nyah.
There are many scientists who are neither atheists nor creation scientists. It will have to suffice, regardless if someone would demand otherwise.
I was speaking of the general distinction of difference between atheist versus creation scientists.
You added your own descriptives that are beyond what I would think of any scientists to be. I will not have my words nitpicked at when I've clearly used generalizations that should suffice as tolerable to everyone.
I have not always been an atheist, and I understood the evidence against flood geology while I was still a Christian. In my general statement the general term of atheist suffices. Any subset like geologist or astronomer can designate themselves according to their particular expertise.
Much like anyone may call people who believe the Bible, Christians, not knowing or bothering to make a distinction between the particular denomination an individual Christian may identify themselves by.
That's hardly surprising, as evolutionary theory is assumed and stated as fact in most educational establishments (at least, that is the case here in the UK). It's then wrongly assumed that there are no scientists who believe in creation. There are many scientists who are neither atheists nor creation scientists.

The "list of 1000 yec scientists" doesn't have much in the way of people who work in fields related to evolution.
Did he even read the Origin of Species?Does that list include Gregor Mendel, the Father of Genetics?
Did he even read the Origin of Species?
Hmm, you're right. The base YEC beliefs could absolutely be held without it.Did he have to?
Are you sorting through the moldyHmm, you're right. The base YEC beliefs could absolutely be held without it.
Do you have evidence that he believed in a Young Earth? He was active a lot later than Carl Linnaeus who was not a strict Young Earth Creationist (but certainly believed that God created life separately).
Kind of.Are you sorting through the moldy
archives of history to a time when
nobody knew any better?
Obviously the finest minds of old were not equipped withKind of.
I like to be precise. I also imagine that men as thorough and consistent as Mendel and Linnaeus would have accepted the evidence for evolution if they had had it presented to them.
I've yet to be shown any way that it's possible.
Oh, but it does. Well, geologists do. And then they come back with stuff like zircon crystals, fossils, magnetic reversals, ice core drillings and all other kind of stuff that show you wrong.Geology can take a hike.
The theory of evolution is not "assumed", but is the conclusion - reached after examination of all available data and evidence. That's hardly surprising, as evolutionary theory is assumed and stated as fact in most educational establishments (at least, that is the case here in the UK). It's then wrongly assumed that there are no scientists who believe in creation.
