Alright, so here is my situation- I am 19 and just got married. I quit my job (please don't focus on this, I have a ton of legitimate reasons), and am having trouble finding a job that pays for all of our monthly bills (which we keep at the minimum- cheapest apartment, tight budgeting on food, toiletrees, etc... all util. paid in apartment, etc.), and my husband is full time schooling right now and again, don't focus on this, he in no way can get a part time job to help right now. we have about 3 months budget left in our savings.
The rest of the situation- I have stocks that my grandparents set up for me, that has quite a bit of money (It could pay for a 4 year degree quite a few times is how I'll explain it). Though I'm new to using them myself (dad always did that-I was young and it was for school).
Here is the question- Is it wrong/immoral to use those stocks to help pay while I look for a job? I mean, I have every intention of continuing to look for a job and do my best at whatever it is that I get, so it's not REALLY a matter of laziness, I guess unless you consider not applying at jobs similar to the one I just quit (fast food industry) is lazy.
I guess I don't think it's wrong, but I think I want to use it as a last resort, but I'm just curious if it wasn't a last resort, if it would be wrong?
Thanks for your input!
