Money and Religion

I am torn between two ideas -- money is a necessity, but making money takes away one's time to such a devastating degree (especially during these times, covid certainly harmed my finances). I would eventually go on to attempt to launch a business that was correlated to the Bible and Bible Studies, only to find little support, and even MORE of my time gone (as I had started a business while working full-time). Now I feel as though I have been stopped dead-in-my-tracks, left to think over this inter-locking give/take ... time/money ... what's the point? And, feeling a bit en-slaved by simply needing to care for myself. I am getting more and more into ways of getting away from it all, the whole idea of money.

With God all things are possible. And the Bible has many things to say regarding finances. If it weren't important God wouldn't have spoken so much on it. The point is summed up by Jesus' statement, "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you."

I'm sorry you're struggling. Reference my comments to @ReesePiece23 on the subject. You can apply the same to bible studies. I know many Christian entrepreneurs.

Start with the end in mind (as shown) and move backwards. Use the digital space. The overhead is lower and your reach is greater.

I did use the digital space, but found little traction. Even when using Twitter among people who were sharing Bible verses, they didn't seem to care. I tried Reddit, and a post would quickly get likes and even some people saying "Thank you" but you shouldn't be spamming Reddit with your website, so I am kind of just taking this moment in life to sit back and consider it as a failure, and attempt to discover what I need to learn from it

Neither Twitter or Reddit are appropriate mediums for that content. You should have a website and use Pinterest and Instagram. Save Facebook last.

Yea the site is live. I've heard that Instagram is about like Twitter in that it is not great for converting followers to page hits. I will take your advice though. I had never really considered Pinterest to be a way to go, but I can see how it could work out well. Thank You

Pinterest drives traffic to the site. Remember, its a search engine. Reference the image below. That's what people are looking for. Do the same in Google.

The bible tells us to provide for our financial needs:

1Ti 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

1Th 4:11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

Mat 6:31-32 Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
