Hello everybody. My mom has been sick for the past year with breathing problems. 10 emergency room visits and 6 doctor visits later, nothing they give her works. They can not find out what is wrong and all tests come back normal. As a result of being sick, she has started to hate God and has announced to me tonight that He does not exist. The sickness has caused her to do horrible things, and she is openly hostile toward the family church, which she stopped attending when she got sick. Please pray for her

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ
Praying for your mother's physical and spiritual healing. Sister, you alone will be her connection to the love of God right now. Stand strong as a witness for him and share his unconditional love with her. Let her get back to God in his time. My family and I have been through similar storms, but he sustained us and surely, he will do the same for your mother. God bless.

Hello. I agree with the post above and I also wanted to say that you are doing the BEST thing you can do for your mother, by lifting her up in prayer. Please know that God led you here, so he is already working on her behalf, through you and others who know and belive that ALL things are possible through him.
