Mohammed's Religion?

I have a question: what religion was Mohammed a part of before he supposedly received the Qur'an? Wasn't it the angel Michael that gave him the message? So was Mohammed Jewish--since he believed in Michael as a messenger angel? I'm just wondering, because he'd have to have had believed in some religion to believe in angels.

So... Judaism is Islam and Jewish people are Muslims?

And since Jesus was a Muslim, Christians who try to be Christ-like as possible are Muslims as well? and their Christianity is Islam?
So, some Christians, all Jewish people are Muslims?

So, what is the problem in the middle east between the Muslims and Jewish/Muslims? Shouldn't everything be okay since they are all muslims?

No Islam means submission to the will of God, all prophets gave the will of God and the oringinal flocks all submitted to it thus they were muslims "One who submits to the will of God".

Do you have any real proof of this? or is this the standard Islamic response? If you are willing to be truthful, the same kind of corruption can and has happened to your Islam simply because according to you, all of humanity before Islam lost God's message. So, what would make humanity any different now under Islam? Did man become perfect after being elightened by Islam?

But, how are you certain that your religion is not the one that is corrupted?

You need to read a history book, Judaism and Christianity predates the teaching of Islam. Islam is pretty militaristic in their teaching.

Did the Torah or Injeel change or the beliefs of its adherents? I am not clear what you mean. It seems to me that you mean the Books are not corrupted, just the people's understanding of it.

It is very unwise to extrapolate things like that as evidence of truth or veracity of a scripture. If you are going to try to use this, you also need to expose the combinations of words and meanings that reflect negatively on the Qu'ran and Islam. Don't just be one-sided here. I think this is really nonsense. Wishful thinking?

If the Qu'ran is a miracle, does that imply that it is from God? Can we automatically make that connection? or do we still need to investigate it on its own merits?

Do you know that the Hebraic language is said to have certain encryptic meanings about God's revelation to the Hebraic people. Would you be willing to believe there is divine revelation in that too?
