These are all contrary to God and His Word and can have detrimental effects to anyone who participates and/or conducts such things.
Is it prevalent?? …. It’s been a while since I have been there, but I can assure you it goes on in every single country all the time. Typically, you won’t see it or hear of it but it’s there and will be there until satan’s time is up.

Aspects of witchcraft,
1. the work of the flesh
- Galatians 5:19-20, expression of man's fallen nature (ex, desire to control people, using illegitimate means; manipulate, intimidate, and dominate)
2. evil spiritual power
Is it used today ... that's a definite yes.
I can say, without hesitation, that both aspects of witchcraft are still being used.
It is something Christians should not use or dabble in, but we need to be aware of it and know how to fight it.
In regards to using evil spirits, still very prevalent in some parts of the world, especially where my family originate - Southeast Asia.

I heard how it impacts one's spiritual life because it's binding on the person.Witchcraft can be very harmful as a 'weapon', i thought witches were deceived, that they had no power, i learned they do have, to do a lot of harm, if you ever feel spiritually attacked, chances are someone may be doing witchcraft against you. And if you somehow can't defend yourself correctly, you can end up in bondage, the enemy doesn't have rights to attack usually but with witchcraft people give the enemy rights, all those stuff like black magic, vodoo, pacts of blood with animals, pacts with the devil, etc etc, are real and can do a lot of harm.
