Mob rampages through school

At a nearby high school ( I dont go there, my mom teaches there) yesterday, the most amazingly horrible thing happened. The school's students just went wild, there was a huge fight in the cafeteria (baseball bats were used!!!), a ton of people were arrested, a policeman sent to keep the peace was beaten up, some kids were sent to the hospital, there was a bomb threat, a teacher was threatened to be "cut," and a bunch of students just went around in the parking lot randomly beating up teachers' cars, and a ton of people, esp. a group of girls, started crying and called for parents to pick them up. Tons of students are being jailed and many more suspended (schockingly, many are girls!!!). Now the place is being closed off by police. A lot of these people were in my mom's class. People my age can be animals.

Oh, on top of that, a girl who was in my mom's class has been missing for 2 weeks, and they found that she has been emailing a known sex offender. Additinally, there is a person at this school who is being charged with murdering his cheerleader girlfriend.

Is it just me or is this the end of the world?
Thank God I do not go to that school.

Please pray for my mom as she is having a REAL difficult time at this "school". I feel bad for her. Like this morning a student's mom came in for a "conference"- and blasted my mom for her teaching habits right in front of her daughter's face...

I don't know how devout your Mother is, but I pray she may have the prudence, patience, and maturity to stand strong.

Let's pray for all schools. They are beginning to become daycares, not schools.

Wow, holy cow. I'm a High School Teacher, and I can't imagine if something that horrible happened at my campus. We have over 3,000 kids on our campus.

Where is this school? I hope that they throw the book at any and all with any involvement. Too often teens are given the soft hand. They should be in jail on assault charges for even taking a swing at someone, and Felony charges for using a weapon or threatening someone.

On the northside of Richmond, about in the center of a black ghetto, a few miles away from where I live.

I hope so too. I just tell my mom not to deal with all the bad behavior and disrespect that happens and just to give them hard punishments.

the guy that threatened the teacher got suspended, thats as far as I know...
