Miraculously Cured of Hepatitis C

Many years ago, I drank from the cup of a questionable person with bleeding gums. Afterwards, I had contracted jaundice, a symptom of hepatitis C which causes a yellowing of the skin. And I was diagnosed with hep C. At the time, it was an incurable disease. Today, I believe that it is only cured by serious drug therapy which sometimes makes your hair fall out. I read that this disease can take 10 years off your life! I cried out to Jesus! My test scores began coming back negative with no signs of ever having it in the first place. I believe it was Jesus as Healer who cured me. Jesus added 10 years to my life. And now, I have a job that requires clean blood and much of what I own, including this computer I'm typing on, comes from it. This is another way in which the Lord has truly provided for me and my family.

Praise God! I was cured as well. I had genotype 1A which was the hardest to treat previously. A new drug called Harvoni worked for me. 12 weeks of treatment with very few side effects. Still, the credit goes to God. He is the creator of all things good IMO.

Congratulations on your recovery. And thank you for sharing. It's good to hear that they now have a cure for hep C with few side effects. I'm just curious, if you don't mind my asking, today, is there any trace of you ever having it?

This is pretty common. 10-50% (depends who you ask) of Hep C cases resolve themselves.

I've never heard of this. Why is that? I had it bad and contracted jaundice on account of it. I give glory to the Lord.

No idea. But jaundice can occur with acute infection. Also I would be careful, because there's a thing called occult infection. Basically you screen clear but end up showing mild symptoms later in life anyway.

I had contracted jaundice shortly before being diagnosed twice with hep C. I tested negative 8-9 months ago. I pray that I don't show any symptoms later in life. My trust is in the Lord.

PS: I believe that it is not coming back because I believe that the Lord had cured me.

There's an old Muslim saying: trust in Allah but tie up your camel. Just because you have faith that X will happen doesn't mean you shouldn't make preparations for when X doesn't happen.

I agree. But have you ever thought that those cases that resolved themselves may be the Lord's work? It is possible.

They even had a documentary type tv show about 18 years ago -
Native Americans had a cure that a few white men learned and used effectively... low price (free), and no side effects !

This is so crazy and cool at the same time. I've been depending on Adderall for years now using it every morning to stay up and awake and focus. Sometimes Id need it 2x a day to keep myself going. However to make a long story short I made a prayer asking help fix this problem because it was effecting my tardiness/performance at work. I was afraid of losing my job after having many talks with my boss. Surprising sometime after this prayer was made I had unknowingly changed my eating and sleeping habits. Never did I think to change these things let alone research it.

I definitely believe there was an intervention outside my own doing because this struggle ended seamlessly but quickly like the drop of a hammer after praying about it.
