Miracles, visions, or sensations anyone?

I would like to hear some stories of miracles from people if they have any? I was reading a book called 'Chicken Soup for the soul: A book of Miracles.' Some of them were really amazing (if they are true) I struggle with being skeptic because of so many things I have been through in my life. Anyway, I thought it would be nice to hear about some stories or even if someone has ever had visions or sensations. I read about people who felt they were 'filled with the spirit' by a tingling sensation that started in their feet and went to their head for no reason when they were meditating on God.

P.s. I have only had a feeling of peace and comfort come over me, and this only happened once.

This might not be what you're looking for but it was a miracle to me.

Before our youngest son was in the 3rd grade, I dreamed that he was in an accident and had to have surgery. There was a complication and the dream revealed how it needed to be handled. I didn't tell anyone about the dream and months later when we got the phone call that he had been hit by a car, I yelled to my husband as we were running out the door, he's going to be ok, he's going to be ok!

Each step of the process happened just as I had dreamed it. The doctors stood where they had been in my dream and said the exact words. Our son’s hospital room was located on the right hand side next to the elevators, etc.

After our son came home from the hospital and things had settled down, I told them about the dream. My husband said it had really puzzled him why I was so sure that our son was fine 2 sec after the initial call and he had been amazed (shocked) at how calm I was through the entire process. But I just knew that our son was going to be okay in spite of the facts: the car was traveling about 45 mph, he hit the windshield & fell onto the street; there was blood, grass, gravel, everywhere; the complication happened, etc,

Our son doesn’t have any problems from what happened. I am so grateful to Yahweh.

Wow, that is amazing. I have heard of other stories similar to yours. It must have been so nice to have that feeling that everything was going to be ok.

Welcome to CF!

Since you are come to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, there are MANY here with such experiences - your's truly included! While the specific events were indeed very important to me at the time, over the years they have become less so, while the significance of the written Word has grown to me.

I have noticed a trend that G-d will use miracles to smash our false theologies, and He seems to rather enjoy doing this! Take me; why would you grant life saving miracles (2 separate occasions) to a very short, rushed, panicked prayer, by a sinner? And yet He did exactly that.

Only after the fact did I ask Jesus into my heart, at which time the entirely dark garage I was in (roughly 2 AM) was lit, so that I could see clearly. I instantly knew this was Jesus, who is Himself the Light, and that this was confirmation from G-d the Creator that this new step was real.

And indeed life has never been the same since, with more miracles than I could count since. :) But what's really significant, is the miraculous Power of His Word; may He Bless you richly with it :groupray:

I'll also point out we have archives going back many years, with contributions from many that are no longer active here. Sub-forums for dreams and visions, testimonies ...

Tturt, what a horrible experience to go through. God was so good to ease you through it.

The miracle that had the biggest impact on me was a healing. For a year and a half I had a persistent bronchitis that was diagnosed as asthma. I could barely talk without coughing, and this was frustrating because my job depended on talking, and I sang in church often.

I would pray in a drifting or whiney sort of way, without setting any faith or scriptures to it... anyone would recognize the "Lord when is this going to be over" sort of prayer.

There was a moment where I grew very determined, and made an assertive prayer, quoting scriptural promises. Not putting up with being a victim any more. Within minutes, God gave me a list of things to do. I wrote down the list, and did each step, and within three days the bronchial problems were under control.

My doctor had told me that asthma only increases and does not improve; he prescribed several expensive medications that were more trouble than help, and suggested going an hour out of my way for regular allergy tests. I couldn't figure out how I would support myself the rest of my life when I could barely talk.

When I went through the list, which included ripping out some things in our house, I found out we had black mold. The list also included nutrients and herbals that would restore my immune response, and talking with a family member who hadn't been respected enough for his health advice. So nice things happened there too.

I still have a vulnerability to perfumes and other triggers, but have been completely free of the disabling cough for many years. God knew what it would take to set me free, and I needed to seek out His advice with more determination and trust. In so many areas of life, I find that God truly does know what's hidden throughout the world, and we need to build His knowledge into our approaches.

I haven't really witnessed any miracles I don't believe.

But the night that I gave myself over to the Lord, I felt a Satanic Being at the foot of my bed when I was asleep and it woke me up in a grip of terror.

My wife and I have found money in our bank account on a few occasions when we needed money that we couldn't explain. ( needed for both personal use and or for a special tithe ).

I have felt the presence of the Spirit on several occasions, especially when in prayer.
