Speaking of miracles
Several years back, before I had a car I remember when our gas went out and we had to cook outside.
We had to rely on people back then to go way out far into the country to the gas places (they put them out there incase of accidents!) to refill our small tank. If you ordered a big tank the gas company delivers, but we didnt always have the money for a big tank.
Anyway, no one would get our gas and we had to wait more days longer than usual.
It was my turn to cook, I have to tell you right now, I cant start fires! my younger sister is good at it and can even set up a little outside oven by improvising if need be. I have been known to tend to other peoples fires and they went out! (The irony is I set a house ablaze by mistake one time and that was an abandoned house and every one was glad for the space).
So I was unsuccessfully trying to light the fire and I said, God, please light this fire for me. It didnt happen immediately and I thought, whatever! And went inside.
About 2 minutes later went outside and the wood was on fire! You cant tell me God didnt light it! That was a miracle! I deserve no credit for it at all!
