Miniature Donkeys

So, has anyone here ever had a miniature donkey before? You could say I'm going to be taking care of one and any info would be appreciated!




Oh, and for clarification that isn't the one that'll I'll be taking care of. That's just a photo of one. The one that I'll be taking care of is a female 3 year old Albino.

There used to be almost a miniature miniature Shetland Pony named Rosy that I was taking care of (not owning) and she was even smaller than the rest of the other Shetlands! She was sooo adorable and I really loved her and I never got to say good-bye to her!

Yes, thay have mini donkeys. And I love donkeys alot because they're just like cuter horses!

They really need at least another donkey or animal with it so it's not lonely. They love attention and need alot of it.

They also need their hooves trimmed like horses too and I've read that you need to trim the from every 1-3 months is the range I've heard.

They also need regular dewroming about evey month and about 5 shots. So your father-in-law would need to know about the care that they need. And I've read that their lifespan is between 25-40 years!

I've been trying to do alot of reading on the care and management of miniature donkeys on the internet.

My fil has a regular sized donkey and three horses now, so I think he understands the care aspect, he wants another donkey, and he would love the idea of having minis.
