What does the bible say about killing another human being?

And more importantly-How do those of you in the military deal with this issue of having to take another life for your country and at the same time stay true to your faith?

Not sure what it says in the bible but when it says "Thou shalt not kill" i think means like homicidal like but if you killed them for defence then i dont think it would count I think it was Abraham that was suppose to kill his son to prove he loved God or something....but then if you dont think so and if you go to military and get into a firefight then i guess your dead...but i dont think God would be dissapointed that you killed somebody to defend yourself

It was easy, you either killed them or they killed you.

To be a conscientious objector can be just as fatal as looking down the barrel of an AK47.

Rember the Jews did a lot of killing, and slaughtering, and they were blessed by our Almighty God.

I'm pretty sure Israel did alot of warring. What Elijah said is also true. Who we are fighting wouldn't hesitate for a second to send thier children in with a detonator and an IED to take out some Westerners. I wouldn't hesitate to give them a double tap to the chest. I pray that God gives me wisdom and discernment though.
