CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

bad... prof had pity and gave us what he fondly called "redemption points". i.e. gave a project to complete in a day.

I'm an english/spanish major and I only had an official midterm in one class. The rest were papers or projects due around that time. I did pretty good. 5 a's and a 'b'

I didn't have midterms excpet in one class, which I failed and now I have a C+ in the class. 
Which isn't really that bad considering I got a low-grade report in not one but THREE of my classes. One of which being my major oriented class! (Intro to Mass Communications.) Two Ds and I'm failing World Politics. Lovely..
The two Ds are in Mass Communications and Psychology, which I can pull up if I work at it, but World Politics.. I'm getting a tutor cause there is no way I'll be able to get anything about Politics without help.. (I don't know a thing about politics. I never took a politics oriented class before in my life.)
