Legolas sat at the council with his brother Cundu to the right, and one of his council members to the left. The silence was broken by Elronds voice.
"You have only one choice. The ring must be destroyed."

The council went on, and soon an argument broke out about who would take the Ring to Mordor. Legolas had to hold his men back from killing the dwarfs. A small voice rang out.
"I will take it." Legolas turrned. Frodo had stood up, and said he would take the Ring to Mordor. Legolas admired the Hobbit. He'd already done enough, and he was now willing to take on the task of destroying the Ring. Galdalf said he would help Frodo in his quest. Aragorn also stood.
"If by my life or death, I can protect you. I will." Aragorn said, kneeling. "You have my sword."
Legolas stepped forward. "And you have my bow."
"And my axe." Gimli, son of Gloin said.
Legolas didn't want to appear rude, but he was laready frustrated with the dwarf. Three hobbits ran out and joined the group.
"Nine companions. So be it. You shall be the Fellowship of the Ring." Elrond said, smiling slightly.

Nyëna smiled ever so slightly, pleased. She had given Elrond a pleading glance -- she might be older than him, but she had the feeling he was wiser in situations like this. And the Fellowship was made.

She stepped forward and put a hand on Frodo's shoulder. She stared down at him, her violet eyes searching. "Yes, you can and will do it . . . " she murmured, then smiled. "You have my aid when needed, and although I will not travel with you, I will not be far away."

The other council members shifted in their seats, eager to leave. Cundu, Legolas' brother, was staring at him, uncomprehending. As she looked towards him, Nyëna could not help but say, "Araethir is coming. She is coming down the hill." She smiled slightly, again. This time, her smile was shadowed. The more people that went, the less that would return.

A great crash broke the silence. A tree seemed to bend, then a great mass of leaves and feathers came tumbling down onto the center of the pentagon of the council. Nyëna ran to Karandir's side, and cried in elvish, "Na er, sorne-nildo. Lyaa toi raakina." Be still, eagle-friend. You are injured.

The Felloship members were excused to leave and get ready whatever things they needed. Cundu had a disspleased look on his face. Legolas motioned for Cundu to follow. As Legolas got his thinngs ready, he gave Cundu intructions, in their elvish tongue.
"Tell father I will return. I'm not sure when, but it will not be soon. But I will return."
"And what if you don't?" Cundu asked.
"I will."
"And what of Araethir? You know she'll follow."
"She already has. I knew she would, but it's was her decision. Most likely Morelda will be with her."
"Legolas, you risk loosing everything you have."
"If the Ring is not destroyed then I will loose everything I have."

Araethir and Morelda crossed the Ford and went into Rivendell. As she walked around, she heard elves, and men talking of the Ring and how the Hobbit had said he would take the Ring to Mordor. Araethir knew Legolas would have joined The Fellowship. She saw him talking with Cundu.

Faila had heard her brothers talking to their father, she knew of the summons. And she would not be left behind. That night she packed her stuff and at mornings first light she went and got her horse. She hid in the trees till her brothers and some other elves rode by then she followed them being careful to stay out of sight. She followed them all to Rivendall. When they arrived their she went to go see Arwen without her brother seeing her. She told her of her plan to follow her brother. Arwen tried to keep her from going but Faila would not drop her plan. After the council Faila again followed Legolas. They had been walking for about half a day when Faila felt that someone was behind her she pulled out her sword and turned around. And she was face to face with Legolas.

"Faila! What are you doing!?"

"What does it look like, I'm following you." She said as she put her sword back in its sheath.

"How did you follow us?"

"Lets just say that I had a good teacher." She said with a smile.

Thats all I can think of right now, Darrions if you have any ideas please post it.

Nyëna watched the Fellowship leave Imladris, her heart heavy. She had a foreboding of what they might come across, and the evil drew ever nearer. Shaking her head resolutely, she mounted up on ۵Silme۵, her eyes taking in those that were leaving.

Gandalf in the lead, his weatherbeaten features dark and weary. Followed by Frodo, the unlooked-for champion, innocent and yet steadfast. Legolas, young prince of Mirkwood, engaged to Araethir. Gimli, the grim and competative dwarf who was slow to speak and yet fierce and strong. Merry and Pippen, friends to the last ditch and then some. Borimir, son of the steward of Gondor, a man full of contradictions -- he would bear watching, Nyëna decided -- who would be consumed by desire for the Ring and then declare Aragorn king on his deathbed. Sam, a faithful, stalwart friend. And lastly, Aragorn. Nyëna spotted Arwen, and the young elf-maid had tears in her eyes. Once, at the top of the hill, the heir of Isildur turned and waved.

Nyëna spotted Araethir and Morelda making off into the trees, and at the other side of the valley, Faila was vanishing into the tree-clad hillside. Torn for a moment, Nyëna stared after her, then wheeled ۵Silme۵ and shot down the hillside and splashed across the river. Climbing up the far bank, she did not look back. She was off to Lothlorien, but not with the Fellowship.

»«ﺷﺸﺷﺸ≈ﺷﺸﺷﺸ»«ﺷﺸﺷﺸ≈ﺷﺸﺷﺸ»«

And rising above the trees behind her, Karandir shot into the sky, his black feathered wings trailing behind as he kept his sharp eyes on the whole scene.

Araethir decided to keep herself hidden from The Fellowship, until the right time aroze. Morelda was ejoying every minute of this, but tried to keep herself from showing it. Araethir knew better. Morelda loved things like this, even though she didn't express her excitment much.

Morelda contained her excitment easily. She was finally on her way back to Lothlorien. Not that is really mattered, her parent's were gone. But she still longed to walk through the woods she loved.

In Lothlorien...

Haldir weaved through the trees of Lothlorien, easily dodging any tree that got in the way. His blonde hair flew behind him, in one long strand of gold, shinning in the sunlight. He finally reached the clearing he wanted, and waited for his sister to imerge. When he heard her comming, he jumped to the right, the arrow just missing his ear.
"Good Freda. Verry good. You've got it down. You don't need anymore lessons. You're ready." Haldir said
A young looking elf maiden walked from the trees, her blonde hair flowing in the wind. She resembled Haldir very much.
Haldir smiled, and led her back to their horses.

Legolas smiled back at his sister.
"Yes, I guess that I did teach you well, and that means that you can find your way home."
"I'm not going home Legolas!"
Faila looked behind her and saw that the fellowship had stopped and was watching them. She looked back at Legolas with a frown.
"I did not come all this way to have you send me home. I'm going with you wherever you go."
With a sad face Legolas responded.
"Even to the slopes of Mount Doom?"
"Even to the slopes of Mount Doom."
With that she gave him a hug and they both started to walk towards the fellowship.
"Companions, this is my sister Faila, she has decided to join us. She will not slow us down."

I'm finally getting into a writing mood.

Frodo and the Fellowship walked through the forest in a discomfited silence. The air was thick with bitter anticipation, and Frodo was so restless that the slightest unexpected snap of a twig or a flutter of unseen feathers caused him to jump. The minute he volunteered to carry the Ring to Mordor, he began to have second thoughts. All sorts of acrimonious what ifs ran through his head, taking away his concentration. Suddenly, he felt something touch his shoulder. As he later recounted, he seemed to have jumped high enough to sit on the uttermost bough of the large evergreens surrounding them. "Frodo, are you alright? You seem so edgy, you need to relax. We are still within protected borders" Came the deep reasurrance of the familiar voice of Gandalf. "I know Gandalf, but I cant shake the feeling that someone, or something, is watching us." Frodo said in a precarious voice. He looked at the ground, feeling himself relax as Gandalf continued to speak in a low, strangely soothing voice. He sucked in a shaky breath and walked on, kicking the rich dirt as he went.

Celandine wandered across the grassy hills of the Wilds, trying to find some reason to keep walking that way. She looked around, her unusually keen eyes seeing much of the movement going on around her. She watched as a large owl snatched a doormouse up for its supper. Her small pointed ears twitched, listening to the squeals eminating from the potential meal. She lifted her hand to shade her eyes from the sun's last burst of light before it crept behind the distant hills. She saw something. Far, far down, down, down, she saw a small dark line, moving against the wind, out of the forest surrounding Rivendell. From her view it was as small as a caterpillar, but for some reason she was much more intrigued by it then she usually would have been. As of late, small bands of elves or dwarves moving out of their territory had not been unusual. But as she watched the line slowly progress, at the pace of a snail, she felt her pulse quicken. She felt curiosity surge through her like adrenaline, starting at her neck and forcing its way through her limbs and torso, ending in her feet, prickling and tickling. She was going to follow that caterpillar, and she was going to find out just what it was doing and why. She picked up her bag, and at an impatient trot, she set off down the hillside.

Legolas kept a watchfull eye on his sister. The Fellowship had not reached any dangers yet, but he still watched over her. Legolas had sent Cundu back to Mirkwood with messages to Thranduil, Araethir and Falia, even though she would not need one now. Legolas followed Gandalf out of Rivendell, with Falia behind him.

Araethir and Morelda followed close behind The Fellowship. Araethir knew the time was close, when she would reveal herself to The Fellowship. But not yet. Araethir and Morelda followed The Fellowship in complete silence. Through the trees, Araethir could see Legolas. She also noticed Falia was there. So, she followed as well? Araethir thought.

Morelda followed closely behind Araethir. The two friends did not speak a word to the other for hours. When they reached the open plains, they made sure to follow further behind, so as to go unnoticed. Morelda excelled in being unnoticed. She wore a green cloak, and always kept her hood up, hiding her dark brown hair. Her hair was put in a long braid, and then hidden underneath her hood. Unlike Araethir who had a cloak, but couldn't stand wearing the hood. Her wild blonde hair, that was put in two loose sections(see picture on page 1 in Araethir's profile) was blowing in the wind, shinning in the sunlight. Morelda looked at Araethir. If she hadn't known Araethir, she would have thought that she was royalty. She was elegant, and majestic, the way she was suposed to be. And she was pursuing her lover.

Celandine was almost shaking with excitement and curiosity as she drew nearer to the strange group. She could now see that it was composed of two elves, two men, a wizard-(She could tell by the pointy hat),Four hobbits (Her eyes lingered a long time on the one with the big eyes), and a dwarf. The dwarf kept grumbling and casting suspicious glances on the two elves. Celandine found this so comical she almost laughed out loud, but she caught herself and remained silent, peering through the branches of a thorny bush as the Fellowship (Of course she didnt know thats who they were) settled down to camp for the night. She was still pondering just why they were together, and just why they all seemed rather meloncholy, when she saw something that startled her enough to make her yelp. She had been watching the hobbit-the cute one, with the big blue eyes- when she saw something glistening around his neck. She thought is was just a chain, but she proved herself wrong when she shifted to get a better look. There, dangling menecaingly at the end of the chain, was a ring. And she knew what it was. It was the One Ring. She gave a little cry of horror, recognition, and suprise, which proved to be one of the dumbest, and smartest moments of her life. She watched with terror as the tall dark man whirled around, looking straight into her eyes. In two bounds he was at her, pulling her out of the bush (Which hurt quite a bit, tearing at her face with the thorns) He set her on the ground, recoiling a bit when he realized she was a female hobbit of all things. The next string of events that took place were very chaotic indeed. The thorns from the bush she was pulled out of scratched her face and while they were not serious gashes, they produced a lot of blood. so what the elves saw was a short figure, doubled over with the shock of everything, with a face seemingly disfigured with blood, and long light colored hair dirtied with bits of leaves and sticks. The dwarf saw her from behind, rubbing her face, and all hunched over, looking very much like an orc. The hobbits realized straight away that she was a hobbit, but they kept their distance, not knowing why she was so strange looking. Aragorn had his sword against her neck in an instant, and while besides the blood she didnt seem so threatening, he was taking no chances. "Speak, creature! Who, or what, are you, and why are spying on us?" Aragorn cried. Celandine tried to speak, but the words caught in her throat, stopped by the lump that was threatening to make her cry. Her face hurt, and she was extremely embaressed at being caught so swiftly. She was also very frightened, for not many times had she had a sword against her neck, with two bows drawn and ready to shoot, and also a large axe just waiting for a command. So the only noise that came out was a faint gurgle. That startled Gimli, who immediately without thinking tried to hack away at her with his axe. Aragorn hit it away with his sword, but not before it caught a nice chunk out of Celandine's arm. She screamed with pain, which immediately tipped them off that it was female. Aragorn was now embaressed as well, as well as concerned, shaken, and upset. "Gimli, fool! Get away!" Aragorn said. This entire time, Gandalf had been watching from a ways off, but he decided it was time to interfere. He stepped up, his eyes laughing, but beneath the twinkle was concern. He gave a warning look at Gimli and Aragorn, and they backed off, watching him closely. He knelt down, motioning for the hobbits to come. Celandine sat up, wiping her face with her cloak and looking up at him with eyes that were far from trusting. She hadnt realized until now that the four hobbits were still there, looking at her strangely. "It doesnt seem that we welcomed you very well, Celandine." Said Gandalf. Celandine drew back, wondering how he knew her name. Gandalf's face quickly became serious. "You had better show them you mean no harm." Gandalf said, looking at her knife. Celandine took it off, laying it at Frodo's feet, knowing he was obviously most important here, what with the priceless thing he posessed. She avoided all eyes, and looked at the ground.

Faila did not say a word she just walked quitely behinf her brother. She was wondering what her father would say and do when he found out she was gone. She noticed that her brother kept on looking back at her. She knew that her brother was mad, she also knew why he was mad. He was mad because he loved her so much and did not want anything to happen to her. She loved him too. She was closer to him than anyone else. They had just reached the place that they would camp for the night when a sound came from the bushes and one of the men grapped whoever made the noise. As soon as her brother heard the noise and jumped in front of her and put an arrow to his bow. She pulled out her bow and arrow too, even though with her brother standing in front of her she could not see the noise maker. When her brother saw that is was a girl hobbit he put his arrow back and moved away. 'Ah!' she thought 'now I can see wh... Oh! It is a girl!'

Gandalf's booming voice continued. "Celandine, I know who you are, because I had a vision. What I saw was both frightening and comforting. You are to join us, I believe you have a large part to play. You have figured out who we are, have you not?" Gandalf said. Celandine looked up at him, trembling. "Well...you have the One Ring. I dont know what you are going to do with it, though." She said to Frodo.

Ah, this couldn't be more than a perfect time to enter Araethir and Morelda. After seeing The Two Towers three times, and think I have an idea. Sorry if this is toatally...lame.

Araethir heard some comotion going on in the camp of The Fellowship. She stood and walked closer, to where she could see them, but they couldn't see her. At least, the men couldn't. Araethir saw Gandalf, and the four hobbits crouding around something, or someone, that was covered in leaves. Araethir felt she had better get back to her own camp before someone saw her, but her curiosity got the best of her.

Legolas lowered his bow, and put the arrow back in his quiver. He sensed someone near, and looked up. He saw a shadowed figure in the forest. He quietly made his way around it, making sure not to be seen. He motioned for Faila to stay where she was. Legolas walked into the forest. He weaved around the trees, not maing any noise. He was suprised when he found a small camp.
"Morelda?" he asked.
Morelda looked up from her seat. She smiled.
"I wondered when you'd get here. It sure took you long enough." Morelda said, standing. Legolas smiled.
"I am glad and at the same time, sorrwed to see you here. I doubt you came alone."
"You're right. I didn't. Araethir came with me. Or more, I came with her."
"I feared you'd say that." Legolas said looking at the ground. "I had hoped that she would stay in Mirkwood."
"Legolas, did you really think that she would have? You know how stubborn she is. When she set's her mind to something, there's no stopping her. I've tried. She would have come along anyways. It would have been better if you'd taken her with you."
At that moment Araethir walked back into the camp. Seeing Legolas she smiled. She ran the short distance to him.
"If I didn't know any better I would have thought you were following me." Legolas said smiling.
"What makes you think I'm not following you?" Araethir asked.
Legolas turned serious.
"You know I hoped you would stay in Mirkwood."
"I know it. I came on my own account. And I'm not going back."
Legolas smiled. "I figured you'd say that." He then pulled her close, wrapping his arms around her. Backing away, he took her hand.
"We'd better get going, before they start to worry."
Morelda followed.
