  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I am from down south where it doesn't snow, sorry, no Yankee blood here but I know of a Michigan Yankee who hangs around here. His name is Skripper and he’s not too bright but you might find him enjoyable in spite of that.

She can't post here, but Loki's a Michigan sorta-Catholic. (She's an atheist, but she's very impressed by Jesus, and attends a Catholic church. Personally, I think she's a good Christian wrestling with difficult questions.)

I am the aforementioned Michigan Yankee.:) I live in a suburb of Detroit, in Saint Clair Shores . . . far, far away from Shelb5. :p

And it's a darn good thing you do or else you'd be getting that other shoulder operated on too.

BTW, How did you operation go?
Well, put it this way. When the muscle first tore, it was a very sharp pain that hurt like the dickens. Then, over the course of weeks, first as I was waiting to see the specialist then for the operation and taking the pain meds, it had sort of chilled out to a low-grade but constant pain. Now, the morning after the surgery, it feels like the fresh tear again . . . maybe even worse, even though I have stronger pain meds than before. I sure hope it gets better soon.
