  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

We have trouble with mice in our house.
Previously we used live traps. and released them in a barn behind our house.
But now the mice aren't going into the traps.

We have an outdoor cat and hamsters that occasionally get out.
So poisons and killing traps are out.(Decon can kill our cat if he eats a mouse that ate it.)
Any thoughts?

How are the mice getting in the house? Seriously, figure that out and you won't have mice anymore. It worked for us. We had a "mouse door" into our house via or AC unit hosing. We sealed that up and I have not seen anymore mice in the house since.

OUr house was built in the 1900, and there are hundreds of small holes that mice, luckily no rats, can get in through. And a farmers field and barn ajoining our property. Usually harvest time is when mice come to visit. But it has been cold early this year.

We actually haven't had mice problems since last year. So I doubt it's the same mice. Our outdoor cat keeps our yard clear of birds, squirrels, and other little vermin but these are to many and to small for her to get.
The cat does occasionally allow opposums to share her food.^_^

we do that with the peanut butter and we caught one eating some chocolate so we put chocolate on it and it snap the mouse
Thanks for the tip. I'll it a try with just a piece of chocolate then.

Of course, the good thing about the snickers bar is that if the rat eats only the chocolate then I'll still have some peanut butter that I can enjoy as a snack when he's done with it! :yum:

just kidding:thumbsup:
