Gift: Shock - the ability to send electric bolts through her hands and through the air or her sword.
Appearence: Mia has black, straight hair, half way pinned up with two hair sticks and often wears her face mask for no particular reason. Her tanned skin betrays her many travels as well as her scar which runs down her left cheek from a long forgotten duel. She usually wears comfortable cloth pants and a white tank-top (pardon the modern description) with a black cape which provides her only protection against the elements with the addition of a hood.
Weapons: Though she is fair with daggers and throwing stars, though aim is something to be desired, she is however gifted from a young age at the scimitar, having been coined with the ninja name of Flowing Lightning when she discovered not only was she able to handle a scimitar well, but she could channel her gift through the blade and allow it to slice through the thickest tree trunks.
Of course this severely damaged most swords she used, so her master Wren Tearmo gave her a sword forged from the iron of a fallen meteorite which has withstood her skills and constant battling for the last ten years without so much as a few dents now and again which she was able to repair herself.
She is highly skilled in hand to hand, that being which she was first taught, and prefers it to actually fighting with her scimitar. Being fairly adgile and flexiable, she can climb buildings, scale walls, do back flips and high jumps, and move incredibly fast.
History: Mia was the daughter of the great Master Fighter Eros Togin who would often entertain crowds with his gifts or to aid in villages in need of help, taking his daughter Mia, left to him by his wife who had found another man. Since early childhood, she had been exposed to her father's teachings with hand to hand techniques and the scimitar.
Then, a few days after Mia's seventh birthday, an old man named Wren Tearmo watched their joint routine and decided to help. Wren, as it turned out, was an old friend of Eros's father, Mia's grandfather, and offered to teach Mia all that he knew in exchange for the opportunity to repay an old debt Wren owed to Mia's grandfather. Eros went on with his life and left his daughter in the care of Wren until he returned to her thirteen years later so that they may journey together.
When she turned 23, her father was deeply injured during a battle with local raiders who were attempting to burn down a village he had taken upon to protect. The wound was deep and quickly got infected, killing him slowly as the infection reached his heart, stopping it from ever beating again.
Now on the road again, on her own, she often finds any excuse to do battle, even if it is not righteous or fair, making many enemies and accidental friends. Though she still lives by the code that Wren and her father placed down into her very soul, she still finds that her temper can be difficult to control.
