Mexicans that live on the border seem to support the wall

This is how long this has been going on. 45 years ago I had a friend at work that lived right across the street from the Tijuana border. Every night there were many, many illegal ones cutting through his yard. It was a terrible and scary experience for him and his family.

I believe the Wall would be kind of expensive. If you want to avoid illegals coming to the US, there should be a better border patrol. Maybe they could have a deal with Mexico to control it from the other side too.

Walls and protective fencing have been used by countries since the beginning of time.

I understand that local farmers have been devastated
by free trade becasue families used to grow corn for profit
but trade with the US smashed the market with US corn.

There is a wall now but it's construction varies from a wall to a fence to a river.
