CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I've heard of Tokyo Mew-Mew too. It sounds kind of... cheesy. But is TOKYO Mew-Mew and Mew-Mew the same? Could be sequels.

Tokyo Mew Mew, Mew-Mew, and the horrible horrible dub that 4Kids did, Mew-Mew Power are all one in the same.
I haven't read the manga yet, but I did watch the entire series when it was on fansubs before being licensed. It's a very good shoujo (girls) series. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys shoujo and magical girl anime/manga.
Sadly, the anime is now in production limbo. I have no idea what 4kids plans on doing with it now. They tried to get it to air on WB, but people voted for One Piece (I believe) instead. So if they make no plans on releasing it, it might just be unaired until their license runs out... which could be 10 years or so. Much like what happened to Sailor Moon recently. Although Sailor Moon was aired and became pretty popular in the US. =/

Geez.... that bites. I guess it's either have a lame dub that people can make fun of you for liking, or not having one at all.

Well I think most knowledgeable anime fans wouldn't dissrespect you for liking the series... just as long as you don't run around in an Ichigo Mew costume calling yourself Zoey (or whatever her name was in the dub). Then, well, we'd throw our empty Pocky boxes at you.

Someone told me once that they dressed up as Luffy for Halloween.
^^; Myself, even talking about anime to a close friend makes me uncomfortable. I had many traumatizing pokemon experiences *shudder*. I'd rather the general public not know about the anime in question or else the anime having a good uncut dub.
