  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

My first too. It was good, though. About the only negative thing about it was, that he isn't here. But I got to connect with all my siblings who are scattered all over the place, had good time with my parents here, and had a really good day today with my in-laws. My dog got a few nice presents too.
Truth be told, when Christmas was talked about shortly after his death, or on his last day, all I really wanted for Christmas was to freeze or reverse time, and to have my sweetie back. I'd even told him that in the hospital when he'd say he wasn't sure how much of it he'd be up to. I said I don't really want any presents; the only present I could want is him getting healthier. Well, he now has a perfect body with perfect health.........just, that new body no longer can hold my hand and cuddle with me. I'm glad he's not tired and sick anymore, but I miss him. Yet, Christmas in itself, brings new hope and new joy. That's what Jesus came to bring, and despite life's circumstances changing, that doesn't.
May all of you be blessed this holiday season.
