So, I know we're supposed to have a spirituality that incorporates the entirety of our faith.
But I've noticed that lately, I've been focusing a lot on the Divine Mercy devotions and the Jesus Prayer. The Good Friday Liturgy was also very moving. And Confession, oh my goodness, is that freeing.
And the phrase I heard, "offer your souls and bodies at the throne of grace, place yourself at the foot of the cross, and give yourself to your Lord."
And again I've been thinking of a priestly vocation. And the thought of doing that, is just peaceful. The thought of serving is just the only thing that I can think of doing and feeling like I was living a meaningful life. I could do what I do know (I work at a bookstore) and be happy and make a living. But this isn't what I was created to do.
Has anyone else ever gone through a spiritual phase like this, ever had these thoughts? Anyone got any advice they could offer?
(NB. To everybody who prayed for me during my spiritual crises earlier this year, THANK YOU!
