Men, Birth Control and Responsibility

I'm curious about how often men whose wives take some form of birth control (the Pill, Deprovera or the Patch) actually THINK about birth control themselves. For the women, they have think about it on a regular basis. Does this give men a free ride because they don't have to think about it?

none since i was married in 2000 and i have yet to hear the marvolus words that would make me dance and run in the street screaming yes,yes the words are "Honey i am Pregnant" oh how I long for that day. But I am content if it never comes For it is gods will either way.

I don't ask much. I just figure if she doesn't take it she wants more children. We already have 6.

when my wife was on the pill I'd ask her every morning pretty much if she'd taken the pill; now she's on the patch so i only ask once a week.

My husband will really only ask if I've taken it on the weekends, since I have to wake up earlier to take it since I take it around 7AM on the weekdays. I'm sure that he thinks about it more than that since a child right now is not in our plans. If God has different plans then we have no choice but right now a child isn't something we want.

*laughs* I don't have to worry about it, so I guess it's more of a question of whether *I* think about it. He is the one responsible for our birth control, since he is the half of our couple that is not willing to entertain the idea of more children. I guess I only think about the useage of birth control during intimate times, since barrier methods require you to stop and think for a minute. lol

My husband has to worry about it because we use condoms! When I was on the pill, he asked once in a while, but not every day.
