She seems to be the widow of Pastor Gene Scott who used to have a televised, oh I don't know what you'd call it, preaching program? Out of all the televangelists I ever saw, Gene was the WORST! He would sit in a chair, smoke a cigar, and repeatedly say "I'm not teaching you a damn thing til you send me some money! Now get on the damn phones." While he was waiting for the money to come rolling in, he'd play videos of horses galloping in a field. It made no sense. But at least he was honest in the sense that he let you know he was after your money and really didn't care all that much about you. Now you can shoot me.Doesn't a pastor's covering come from Jesus Christ, Himself?Yes, however, I am sure you are referring to human support we are required to give. In our non-denominational church, our pastors come under a body called MFI, Ministers Fellowship International. They provide cover, which we need to be providing for our shepherds.
If this woman has no covering then she won't last long. She will either fall hard or fizzle.
