I am doubting again please help. Why would God create the world for dinosaurs and megledons etc. to proceed us by many many years.

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, that assumes that the dinosaurs were here for many many years before God created us, which I personally don't believe.
However, if you believe that God used evolution or that he made the earth in more than seven days, then why would it matter whether he let other things live for long periods of time before bringing us along? God made a lot of things, who are we to understand why he made them, or when he made them? There's a lot we don't understand about why God does certain things.
You really just need to make an effort to relax a bit, raven. Your overloading yourself! It's hard, but try to just tell yourself, "I'm not going to think about this right now. I'll think about it later."

God can do whatever He wants, if he decided to create dinosaurs before man, who are we to question it? There are many different theories as to why He would do this, but the point I have come to rely on is this: He did it and I do not have to know the reasons why.
Remember this verse:
"The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law." (Deut. 29:29)
