Meeting Place

I come here to our quiet place
To rest within YOUR love and grace
Oh FATHER, will YOU meet me here?
FATHER will YOU draw me near?

I wait here in our quiet place
My Prayer is I might see YOUR face
My KING, The LAMB, The Holy ONE
The SPIRIT, FATHER and The SON

For it’s YOU that I shall worship and adore
YOU have done so much yet will do so much more
If I honor and obey and just stay out of YOUR way
TO let YOUR will be done within my life today.


I love YOU LORD GOD and I want more. More of YOU. More of JESUS. More of YOU and less of me. Let my thoughts fall by the side of the road, for my thoughts are not YOUR thoughts and my ways, not YOUR ways LORD GOD. I want to be on YOUR road, following YOUR path, living in YOUR light, LORD GOD, not stumbling and falling as I walk in the darkness.

LORD GOD, YOU are so faithful to pick us up and set us back on solid ground, if we but turn to YOU. YOU cherish us so much more profoundly than we can ever realize, so much more than we will ever deserve. I ask to draw closer and closer and ever closer to YOU, in JESUS name.
