God wrote this (and I typed and passed it along) to comnfort someone I know whose father is dying, and He has also used it to help a couple of others I know, maybe it will bring comfort to someone
I know that I can have no comprehension of what you are going through right now, But I do know that God knows what is going on, and He wants to not only to give you what you just enough to get you by, but He wants to give you the peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7.
Right now, we are in a pivotal time period. I have noticed how it is becoming more and more difficult to truly put our faith in God, but when we do, the peace and comfort we feel is so sweet and overwhelming, that we feel as though nothing could ever separate us from God again, and indeed, this is the truth!!!! Romans 8:35 This rest that God gives us is the Sabbath rest that He promises in Hebrews 4:9. This rest provides healing. Take into account that Christ HEALED on the Sabbath, and while we can easily say that this was to prove that the laws were no longer necessary, we can also infer that that was to symbolize that Christ healed when you rested entirely in Him!! When we give our worries entirely over to God, we then rest in Him, and give Him FULL reign in our lives to carry out His will. While God has control in every situation, He will not do anything without some sort of consent (Behold I stand at the door and knock). Healing is no different; Jesus always asked a person if they WANTED to be healed before He healed them. He would not invade someones life without them desiring for Him to intervene.
For freedom Christ has set you free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to the yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1 Sickness is a slavery. You can become a slave to the weariness that sickness brings, to the medical bills, and to time that is lost where you could be spending time with a family member, a friend, a mentor, mentoree, someone who is not saved, a job, or a favorite activity. All of these things can be extremely uncomfortable, and possibly cause you to loss faith in Gods ability; but God is able to do all things, and He will never allow you to remain in bondage once you call upon His Name and earnestly seek freedom.
What is going on is part of Gods perfect plan, no matter how little sense it makes right now. Acts 17:26 states He hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him and find Him, though He be not far from everyone of us. God has preordained everything in an attempt to call as many people as possible to Him, I do not know who God would want to draw to Him in your situation, maybe its your parents, maybe its a family friend, maybe it is someone they will encounter at the hospital, or maybe God wants to further develop your relationship with Him. Just know that God loves you, and many are praying for both you and your loved one
