Matthew 8 Part 2
One of Jesus's biggest frustration while in this world was with those that had Scriptures memorized , that did not change...
When I wrote “Drought of the Heart, “ it was met with great opposition and ignored. God had to actually prepare me to stand up the the Scribes and Pharisee.
Matthew 8 was one of the first places He sent me, for those that no longer believe God uses nature to speak to us , as in Job 38 or as He did with Elijah.
Matthew 8:25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. 27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
Today when He placed on my heart to run with the message of that book , I found it amazing Matthew 8 was my chapter to read.
Some believe we are in the end days but many do not know what that means. Jesus said the people would not know , that they would ignore as they did when Noah was building the Ark.
The end times has so much going on we cant keep up. The end times can be seen in this list below.
Glaciers melting , fissures opening up , lava flows , hurricanes , droughts , pestilences , crime , hate, self indulgence , twisting Scriptures , false prophets , love and sex outside God's plan, signs in the skies , weather gone wild , technology trying to be God or no need of God, wars, people fleeing and on and on and on...
If we do not recognize what signs are being given then we are found in Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32Remember Lot's wife. 33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
Part of the Yellowstone Park area was closed in the Grand Tetons this week. Fissure opened up, well fissures are opening up around the world. To think YSNP is just some random park to visit, is to not know or understand 2 Chronicles 7:13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
The first time I went there and smelled the sulfur , saw the boiling mud and boiling water it was beautiful but also a reminder of 2 Peter 3... satan says it is just a pretty park...
