  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I think that these words

"Because I myself am a man under authority, having under me fighting men; and I say to this one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it."

are the reason for

"I am not good enough for you to come under my roof".

Isn't it?..

What do you think?......

He said that he was a Roman soldier, and for that Y-shua should not go into his home, because being a jew. There were laws, that the Roman would have obvioulsy been aware of. Jews and gentiles had a wall of seperation, that Y-shua removed by his blood. His description of his authority (the soldier) was an example of how Y-shua can use the holy spirit to heal someone and not have to actually go into the home. Y-shua was impressed by his faith and healed the one he asked to be healed.

Are you sure?
That centurion also said he has other person under his authority, do you think this is not the reason?
All we workers..are in the same conditions.
Only who has a monk life can make differently.....

a monk life? I see warnings in the scripture against such ways of life.

Do you know the Acts?..........
Therefore..what was the life of Disciples(Matthew, John, Thomas etc...) by your opinion?
They don't work because of to have a house, foods, entertainments etc.......
They work for God only without the things of this world, this is a real monk life.........

there are two points to the scripture.

1. the centurion was acknowledging that though he had men under his control and authority, he was not worthy enough to have Jesus even enter his home. it should remind us of how unworthy we are that we believers don't have as much faith as a Roman at times.
2. great faith is greatly honored by God. the woman with the issue of blood, and Abraham are examples ....
