I thought I would post a verse of the today. It just happens to Be July 18 in United States so I picked Matthew 7:18 to post.

Matthew 7:18
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.

Excellent verse to meditate on!

There are two types of trees: those that produce good fruit and those that produce bad fruit.

A good tree CANNOT produce bad fruit & vice versa. An natural apple tree will always produce apples. A natural thorn tree will always thorns.

So it is true spiritually. A spirit-filled Christian walking in the Spirit will always produce good fruit & good works. An unbeliever will produce dead works & fruit that doesn't last or will be carried into eternity.

This is a verse that talks about trees that do go to the point of bearing fruit.

How can one recognize good & bad trees? By the fruit they bear.

Jesus: 'You shall know them by their fruits'--the fruit they bear.
