now does this apply to the second coming[armageddon]?
or are the gospels not chronologically ordered ?

This is a reference to the messianic psalms (specifically 118:26) wherein all the Jews reject the rabbinical teaching that rejected Jesus as the Messiah and call out to him for salvation. When they do he will come save them from near annihilation.
