Matching artist/song title to tunes on radio (stupid question?)

I've just started listening to Christian Radio in my area while driving and I sometimes hear music I'd consider buying, but the radio station seems to assume everyone recognizes all the hits. In the past I've bought some Steven Curtis Chapman, some Michael W. Smith...but I know there are plenty of other artists. And although I like both of them I know I've heard stuff a little more rock-ish which I like but don't know who's performing them.

Is there a way to hear small clips of songs by artists on the Web? I guess most people just hear CDs in their friends cars or something, but nobody I know likes contemporary Christian music.

Like I said in the title of this thread, I hope this isn't a dirt stupid question. If so, I apologize.

there's a place on the net: musicforce.com that you can listen to clips of the songs on the cd before you buy it. Sometimes I go there to see if I can hear more music of new artist, and things like that. So you can try them if you know the artist name or album title. I'm not sure if they have a good song search or not though.

Thanks, swingnscream. That site is just what I was hoping for. I quickly found WOW Red with "Beautiful Savior" by Casting Crowns...sounds good. I then found their "What if His People Prayed" and "If We are the Body". I even found one of those songs I heard in the car: "Sing a Song" by Third Day. This is working. Thanks again!!!
