My mother's uncle died totally unexpectedly this week and she has to fly out to attend his funeral. This has happened at a time when there are absolutely no seats available to fly out any earlier. The only day available is the 6th. We accepted that flight but the fare came to a total of £666 exactly.

We've paid for it because she must attend the funeral but my father is anxious because of the numbers. I say that in being worried we are giving the devil more credit and strength that he's worth.

What do u think?

yes that is the mark of the beast but the only time you will be givin the devil credit is if you take the mark of the beast when the antichrist is here and when our LORD comes back !but i would never get a tattoo or put it on myself in any way either !

Yes you're giving him more than he deserves. You don't need to be afraid unless people want to stamp ya on the hand or forehead with it. And the real McCoy's probably a microchip or tatoo or something else that is permanent.

the number 666 is the number of man.the mark is a tattoo and isn't forced upon anyone until the second half of tribulation. Rev. 13v16-18 I don't plan on being here when it happens. (rapture, yay!) its really kinda being superstitious
which a christian should not be. 666 has its place but right now your o.k, don't worry about it.

I think it is just coincidence, but if it bothers you, buy a bottle of juice, tip the stewardess and the pilot and that will take the cost up. The devil can only have power in numbers if you let him.

Thanks. We've discussed it and none of us are afraid of it. It is just a dumb number and the devil has no hold over me and my family. God won't allow it. It's just a fare and it works out to be that price in pound sterling.

From what I understand this mark will be different than any other mark in history, it will mark the unbelievers. See in history people have set the believers apart and have had them killed, for example with Hitler he marked jews for anialation. He used a symbol to mark them, and most of us know the mark as a star, and many of the jewish peoples were even branded.

I am only using this to show a past example. But from what I understand in my reading, this time the mark will be for those who follow the beast and his false prophet and they will have the mark. If you dont have their mark then you will be shunned (if you will, because you will no longer be allowed to partake in even the simplest affairs such as buying, selling or trading).

So in a way this is setting you apart. If you will, making it possible to see who is the wheat and who is the weeds, lol. By God's standards. No one said it would be easy. But the Lord did say we would grow up together, but there would come a time for the harvest, and he would have to throw out the bad weeds and save the wheat- right!

I dont see this as a bad thing, myself.

So as far as a airport number, well I doubt it has anything at all to do with marking of a beast. Now if it effects countless numbers of peoples, tribes, nations, and tongues, well then you may want to think twice.
