After studying Job last week with a group of brothers and sisters and seeing that satan came along with the son's of God to offer unto the Lord I got drawn to these verses:
Revelation 13:18 (KJV)
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
then to:
Ezra 2:13 (KJV)
The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and six.
Adonikam apparently means The Lord is risen up
then to:
Ezra 8:13 (KJV)
And of the last sons of Adonikam, whose names are these, Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah, and with them threescore males.
it appears Shemaiah is the 666 child of Adonikam, Shemaiah means hears or obeys the Lord
then to:
Nehemiah 7:18 (KJV)
The children of Adonikam, six hundred threescore and seven.
Assume he had a seventh son after Shemaiah
then to:
in NEHEMIAH 9 and 10
Shemaiah is part of those who make and seal the covenant
Nehemiah 10:8 KJV
Maaziah, Bilgai, Shemaiah: these were the priests.
then to:
1 kings 12 (KJV)
22But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying, 23Speak unto Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and unto all the house of Judah and Benjamin, and to the remnant of the people, saying, 24Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me.
then to:
1 Chronicles 15:8 (KJV)
of the sons of Elizaphan; Shemaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred:
then to:
Jeremiah 29:31 (KJV)
Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie
If its the same person I am not sure or same timeline as I have not studied to work it all out appears he was a Priest, Chief Priest then considered a Holy Prophet everyone's thoughts on this?
This would imply that Priests, Chief Priest and Holy Prophets are what satan and his children comes amongst pretending to be.
