there is a new quote I edited into it....it unfortunately won't load for me![]()
thanks! I really enjoyed her book and pray for the Holy Souls often. They need it.https://www.womenofgrace.com/blog/23059
"the Church has not pronounced on the alleged appearances of holy souls to Maria Simma, but because these would be considered private revelations, they do not belong to the deposit of faith; therefore, we are not obligated to believe them (see Catechism No. 67).
Because her book has an imprimatur, it means it has been reviewed by Church officials and found to have nothing in it that contradicts the faith; therefore, reading the book is permissible."
Bless your heart, Riley. This brings me to tears and my heart is breaking for those loved ones who might be in such great pain right now.thanks! I really enjoyed her book and pray for the Holy Souls often. They need it.

Absolutely! I agree 100%. It's very real and joyful to pray for our dearly departed. They need it more than anything. As a fairly new convert, I only just recently learned to start praying for the souls of past loved ones who have long ago departed.
Riley, I don't know about you when you pray for them, but for me, let me share that its the greatest joy and happiness when I do this praying. Its like I have a spiritual connection with some of them, and can sense their relief and hope....I think its real
