CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Our library has a lot of manga (and the collection keeps growing 
). There was a new family in our church (which is rather small) and I told them I'd take their daughter (2 years younger then me) to the library once a week since I went so often anyway. She's really into manga. So I picked up some and have been hooked ever since

i saw a fma episode at 3 am at my aunt's house. i thought it was AWESOME so asked my friends if they ever heard of it. most of my friends have been obsessed with anime since they were 9 but they 'neglected' to tell me about it. so they anime-educated me and i've never had a life since.

My manga obsession? Well, it all started when they had the Rurouni Kenshin mangas released in the States for me! But I knew it existed before that thanks to Card Captor Sakura and Sailor Moon.
